  
An in-line holiday detection system performs an electrical inspection test on each pipe. A high potential of 2,000 volts DC scans 360 degrees of the applied coating for flaws. The "jeeper" is capable of detecting coating defects caused by surface imperfections. The stenciling process immediately follows. Here the customer name, PO number, pipe size, date and type of powder are the minimum information stenciled on each pipe. Additional data can be applied, depending on customer requirements. |
